Vintage Foundry Co Men's Clark Lace-Up Oxfords

I only purchase, own, and wear Vintage Foundry Mens Dress Shoes for their quality, style, wearability, and comfort. However I have a pair of size 13 black Clark shoes that a nail that fastens the heel to the shoe came through and into my foot heel causing a great deal of pain and discomfort. I contacted Vintage Foundry and due to the fact I purchased through Macy's instead that I had to deal with Macy's to which they have declined to do anything about this as you only have 30 days to make a claim. To be fair, I have owned these for almost 1 year but with all the pairs of shoes I have I alternate daily thus they have not been worn daily and look almost new. I understand a policy and things happen but I have never had a heel nail in my foot before from a shoe. I trust Vintage Foundry and will definitely purchase another pair to replace but I do wish there would be some sort of apology or some sort of a reduction in price to replace (disappointed) but still love the shoes.

I was very excited when I ordered this pair. I was not very impressed with these shoes. Leather is very stiff and does look synthetic. Toe box is to wide and it cheapens it. I would not recommend them, unfortunately.
