Tom Ford Men's Grey Vetiver Parfum Spray, 1.7 oz.

This cologne is very brooding, mysterious and sexy. It’s a nice combination of old school sexy with a serious modern edge that is a little knurled at the edges

Bought this a month ago for office and everyday wear. Women compliment me constantly in the elevator. This is the top cologne i wear everyday now.

Great masculine scent

So unfortunately I lost my sense of smell 4 years ago do to covid and have yet to regain it back. When it comes to purchasing colognes I have a few ppl I can trust for the "smell test" I have never had a problem with anything ive ever ordered until now. I recently purchased this type of Tom Ford and according to the 3 ppl all at separate times, tell me it smells like it has been sitting on a shelf too long, the smell isn't there and the other tells me that it smells like the "new car" air freshener you would get for your car. Unfortunately, I will never get my smell back and with that being said I have to trust them. Everything I've purchased from Tom Ford before has been magnificent and the smell is exactly what its supposed to be. Unfortunately, this time is the first time I will be returning a product. Can anyone relate to what im hearing about this product or do I need new friends,lol

This a safe blind buy if you're looking for a subtle non-offensive daytime fragrance for the office, casual and or formal outings. If you're seeking attention or want to stand out from the crowd this isn't that kind of fragrance. I would wear this during warmer spring and hot summer days. The scent has a earthy vibes with wisps of citrus on my skin. The projection is limited and the scent trail is very pleasant. My only gripe is I feel it's overpriced for what is is. It's nothing really unique or special to me and there are much better fragrance options available for the price. I'm not great with describing notes breakdown in fragrances, so I apologize for not being able to offer much context in that area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grey vetiver EDT and edp are two of my all time favorites of all time. When I heard about the parfum version coming out, I knew I had to have it as soon as possible. It still keeps that wonderful bottle design but adds a very classy metallic look, which is fitting for the scent profile on this one. The parfum comes off much darker and more earthy then the others. You don't get the citrus the comes from the edp/edt as this one just goes right into the dark feel from the vetiver. Tom Ford has perfected the use of vetiver and it's a reason why the Grey Vetiver line is so loved. This one is more geared towards the cooler months, but can be worn year round if you choose. Performance is around 8hrs on skin and clothes and is safe for work environment as it's not loud and offensive. Sillage on the parfum sits much closer to skin compared to the others in the Grey Vetiver line.

On the one hand, I appreciate its elegance and sophistication. The scent is undoubtedly masculine and refined. However, I find it a tad too strong, which can be overwhelming at times. A little goes a long way with this one! Nevertheless, it's a solid option for those who enjoy robust, woody fragrances. Just be mindful of the amount you apply.
