philosophy 2-Pc. Microdelivery Resurfacing Peel Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Philosophy's Microdelivery Resurfacing Peel for free from Influenster and Philosophy in exchange for my honest review. So far, I like the way my face feels after using this product. It leaves my face feeling smooth around my forehead and cheek area. Unfortunately, my nose is feeling, but only around the nostrils. The step 1 scrub has a nice vitamin C scent with small exfoliating particles and gives a slight warming sensation. Step 2 is a clear liquid that is placed on top of the scrub and sits for 2-3 minutes. This is a quick and easy two-step process that I complete in the evening.

I had this kit and it worked perfectly. It literally made my skin glowing. It exfoliates so well and gives me smooth look. I also noticed that my skin became brighter after using this. Scent is so mild which is perfect for my skin and it absorbs so well. Totally worth buying!!

This is an excellent exfoliating peel. It really does leave your face exceptionally smooth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone in my mid 30s who uses tretinoin, I like to keep an exfoliate in my skin care routine to help get rid of flaky skin, minimize the appearance of pores and create a smooth canvas for makeup. I typically prefer a chemical exfoliant over physical ones and exfoliate about once a week so that’s how I incorporated this peel into my routine. While I appreciated the concept of combining physical and chemical exfoliation and a two-step treatment, I ultimately found this peel to be a little too harsh for my combination skin. Immediately after using it, my skin felt tighter than I’d prefer and was slightly red, although the redness did fade fairly quickly. I didn’t experience significant stinging or peeling right away, but over the following days, I noticed my skin seemed more irritated overall when using this alongside my regular tretinoin routine. I was also unsure if I was using it exactly as intended, since I never experienced the foaming sensation described in the directions during the second step. The instructions were easy enough to follow, but I wasn’t sure if the product had fully activated or if I had missed something. After using it once a week for three weeks, I decided to discontinue and return to gentler chemical exfoliates that work better with my skin care routine. My ideal exfoliant leaves my skin feeling smooth and makeup ready without causing irritation either immediately or in the days that follow. I think this peel might work for someone looking for a stronger resurfacing treatment, but if you’re already using tretinoin or have skin that sensitizes equally easily, you might want to proceed cautiously or opt for a gentler exfoliant instead.

This is really good for rough texture, enlarged pores and fine lines! This made my face so much smoother and brighter! I was worried it would irritate my skin but I had no issues! It’s got all the goodies in it like vitamin C and peptide resurfacing crystals! Kind of like a spa treatment at home!

The step one, it has a nice citrus smell to it, and you can actually feel the resurfacing crystals in it. It, however, is extremely gentle.It doesn't feel like it's tearing your skin. Step two has no fragrance and feels like it actually cleans very well. Overall, I can't wait to see how my skin continues to improve with the use of this. I will also say these look like small bottles, but this goes a long way, and will last a decent amount of time.
