DeLonghi TrueBrew Automatic Bean Extract Coffee Machine with Carafe

Love the coffee maker but it did come with a chip of the bean compartment broken. It does not impact much except being an obvious visual defect.

I am enjoying it so far! I have had this for almost a week and I have adjusted it so it gives me the perfect cup of coffee and I had no issues getting all the settings figured out. The only down side is the bold setting is not as bold as I would like, but I have a system that gets me what I want!

Going to return the item. Opened it and the carafe is dirty on the inside and the grinder had coffee grinds in it. Looks like someone returned it used. Why was it put back on the shelf as new? This is too expensive of a machine.

I have had this model for three years and is excellent in durability, reliability and the quality of the coffees it delivers. My only complaint is that I have not used it for the last month because the one part prone to need replacement, the infuser, finally wore out and I can not source a replacement.

I am enjoying the flexibility of this coffee maker, the quality of the grind, and the relatively quiet operation and low maintenance. It brews very robustly, much more so than the Cuisinart Grind/Brew it replaced. So I had to switch to light roast coffee on the "gold" setting. Light setting even with great coffee beans is too bitter; any coffee or setting further is too strong and tastes like espresso. Suggested improvements: 1) an aforementioned "even lighter" grind setting; 2) why do I need to power on (which includes cycling water and a spent grain dump) just to set the auto clock for morning? Maddening; 3) the auto-set automatically turns off after a few days, so it needs to be reset frequently; 4) the water chamber is great, but is unnecessarily truncated; it could have matched the height of the machine and need refilling less often. Know that the manual and online FAQ and help/chat are useless. You're on your own with trial and error. It took me about 10 days to play around with settings, beans and dial it in. I almost returned it because drip tastes like espresso. But some minor, seemingly obvious fixes above would make it an Excellent coffee maker and review. Thank you for considering.

This coffee maker had everything we wanted and was SCA certified but cost more than we wanted to spend. We are so glad we trusted the reviews and bought this machine. The coffee is so good! The grinder is quieter than our two previous Grind & Brew Coffee makers. We are wasting less coffee beans as we brew only one cup at a time which is saving us money. I like my coffee medium and I husband likes his bold so we get our preferred choice each time. The machine is easy to set up and even easier to maintain. We are extremely happy with this coffee maker and recommend it to every coffee lover out there.

Machine came used with inner part seemingly disassembled. After many frustrating hours trying to get the machine to work and watching YouTube videos, we packed it up and returned it. Quite the disappointment. I purchased a separate grinder and percolator instead and couldn’t be happier. Also much less expensive, a deal really comparatively speaking.

Didn’t work out of the box. Customer service did a video call and confirmed needs to be replaced. Went on YouTube and saw the multiple videos with poor reviews. Regretting not checking out YouTube prior to the purchase. Am returning the product.
