Bought it some months ago and it played the DVD I put in but would not eject. Sony tech attempted to help but was not helpful. Suggested I send it in or take it back to where I bought it.
Well it still had my DVD stuck in it. The DVD is one of my all time favorites, so, cant get player replaced when still can’t get DVD out even though I attempt it every now and then.
Perfect Catch 22.
Don’t take a chance on buying it unless you don’t mind losing your DVD
I could break it open and just take the loss of the player but hope one day it will function.

So Far So Good
We've just used this DVD player once so I don't know much about it. What I do know is that it was very easy to setup and play a dvd. The remote is like most remotes and it came with batteries. There's a page in the reference guide that explains what the remote buttons do. I've never had a problem with any Sony products and I expect this player to follow suit.

Great product at a great price!
I needed to replace a Sony CD Changer that finally gave out after having it for many years, many years. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on another CD Changer so I went with this player. Granted it doesn’t have all the features my changer did but it does what I need it to do and that’s okay my beloved CDs.

Works OK
Because my TV is Roku Smart TV 32S327-CA, all picture-settings and volume-control can be done only from TV's remote control. DVD 's remote control can load disk, play it, advance, rewind, eject, but cannot siwitch on/off tv and cannot control volume. TV inputs and Menu are also not functional on DVD-remote. I use my own HDMI cable, not provided with DVD player (only RCA cables were included in the package)

Barely used it, and tray won't open. Tried their troubleshooting suggestions and nothing works.
