Johnston & Murphy Men's Upton Knit Plain Toe Dress Shoes

7 months in, the tip of the of the shoes are starting to come apart. Not happy at all. It's not a big split, but its splitting nonetheless, and I'm sure will continue to get worse. It's the very bottom/first layer of the sole. And, every time I take a step and roll forward, when I come off, there's a tiny little slap in my toes. Additional issue is there's just no good padding in the shoe, so it's on the hard side. Very annoying and very frustrated for what I paid and come to expect over the years from JM.

This shoe is actually a slip on shoe. Should have been included in description. Always love J & M shoes, but this was a disappointment!

Shoes are very comfortable right out of the box. They look even better in person. I use it in an office setting and I barely notice I have them on. Highly recommended.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I am on my second pair of the navy and have a black pair. Considering I wear the navy 3 days a week getting two years of wear is very impressive. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for an every day shoe!

As is the case with Every pair of Johnston and Murphy shoes I have ever purchased, these are very high quality and super comfortable shoes. This particular pair is also unique, not only because of the style, but also in that they are incredibly light. They feel impossibly light but still constructed incredibly well. My father liked them so much when he saw them that he too asked for a pair.

Very comfortable. Perfect for getting around the office. The airiness of the knit I’m sure will be great in the summer when temps start to climb. In the meantime I’ll be enjoying these all winter.
