[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool works wonders. I love this brand. My kitchen is full of Xoxo products. I haven’t bought anything from this brand I don’t like or that does not perform well.

I bought this from Macy's after reading various reviews. I found that the cutter is not very effective at cutting the shell on extra large Key West shrimp bought from a local grocery store. It worked on about one in every four shrimp. I was glad to have a different shrimp tool to process the other shrimp. Usually I'm pleased with Oxo products, but not this one.

I bought this based on reviews I read. I tried using it on extra large Key West shrimp I bought at my local grocery store. The blade was only able to cut the shells of about one in four of the shrimp I tried. Even when it did cut them it left sharp edges that cut the skin on my fingers. I'm generally pleased with OXO products, so I'm surprised that I'm so disappointed with this one.
