I read the reviews. I bought a lot of landsend clothes. I bought them despite the reviews. They are a little stiff, but I think that’s the style. They are a dressier type of short. They don’t have any stretch to them. They stay the same size all day. I like that. They look very nice on.
My package indicated that these were women's uniform shorts. That would have been helpful in the website description. They are long (11 inch inseam), trim fit, with belt loops. I am 5 foot 1 inches, and a size 12 hit me right at the knee; not comfortable. They are also a trimmer fit than other items I have purchased with that size. The legs do not have side vents at the hemline, either, so they're not good for active sports. I will shorten them myself and hope I get some use out of them.
Runs very small. If I ordered a larger size , would have to order two sizes larger and they would be too large in the botttom.

Sturdy fabric and well made. I ordered size 14 and found it ran large and long. The shorts ended below the knees.

I was so excited to find these shorts in so many colors and ordered four pair. They were right length, but they are too high-waisted and create an unappealing silhouette. I thought the fabric content would provide a little flexibility, but I was wrong. I expected a more tailored short to use as my summer go-to and instead, I have four pair of brand-new shorts that don't fit my body - they gap at the waist and are too tight on my backside - they are so weird! Since I already washed them, I will be donating these to a worthy organization. Don't buy!
