Lands' End Women's Expedition Down Waterproof Winter Parka

I just had to write a review about this coat. Last winter in Northern New Jersey, we had one of the coldest winters in 20 years. I am out daily walking my dog and not only is it cold, but it gets very windy at certain points along the way. This coat made me able to go out every day and feel warm. If you live anywhere with cold weather, just buy it. I got the white and I just love it. It was also uplifting because I usually buy everything black!! I also bought a really cute scarf and matching hat from Land’s End, and that was white based with a lot of pinks and during January, again, it was very uplifting.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this coat- Bought it in blue several years ago- I want it in all the colors again. Super warm, great for snow days, ski days, sled days. Perfect fit. Outer shell is rough sports resistant and doesn't tear easily, inner is soft. Could use another inner pocket for lefties. Cord cinch at glut max could move to both sides of hips. Please restock in all colors again.

I bought this parka to replace a similar old one from another company.I chose this because of features such as hood, waterproof shell, large & plentiful pockets, and warm down filling. Lining in hood and pockets are also very nice. Got Large size to be able to fit a sweater under the jacket. Size is big on me, but I like that it covers my backside. The side snaps allow you to access pants pockets. On sale half-price made this purchase a no-brainer. Very happy with my purchase!

This is the best jacket I've ever bought hands down. I first purchased the Large in black, it is warm but I could still feel the cold on my back because it was snug. I liked it so well I purchased a second in white (X-Large) because everyone wears black, it gives some airspace inside the jacket that makes it that much warmer. The hood is great for the winter winds. Now for the extras: -DEEP front pockets with 2 snaps -Deep side pockets that zip -Deep inside lower pockets with one snap -Zip pockets above waist -Drawstring waist to keep the chill out -Cuffs inside sleeve to keep the chill out -Velcro adjustable strap at wrists to fit -Front main zipper can also be zipped from the bottom for bending or sitting -3 snap side closure at bottom for bending or sitting Tested to -26 F in Wisconsin. I look forward to wearing this knowing I'll be kept warm.

I've searched and searched, bought one high end coat after another, and each was really inadequate and returned - until I found this one! It's got everything you could need and then some. When I saw a photo if a woman wearing it in an ice-fishing hut, I was sold!!! Super warm, lots if sealed pockets, and cushy hand and hood warmer fabric.

I bought this Jacket in Black a year ago and loved it so much I bought it again in White!!

I haven’t worn this coat in the cold yet as I bought it for a trip to Yellowstone in the winter, but I’m sure I’m going to be warm. The list fits perfectly and I have room for some layers. There are LOTS of pockets both inside the coat and out. Soft warm pockets for hands too. I’m glad I bought it!

Love this jacket! I’ve been on the look for a stable winter jacket and finally found it here. The jacket is warm and it has so many deep pockets outside and outside. It’s a little on the heavy side but I don’t mind it! Definitely get it

This is my second LE Expedition Parka - the first one I still have and use for dog walking and snow shoveling but needed a newer one for a trip to Iceland & Norway. LOVE THEM. I have long arms and always get the tall. The XL fits perfectly with room for a layered shirt and sweater and not feeling too tight. Love all the pockets - often did not carry bag bc pockets hold so much! Hood is adjustable and can be configured to be warm and still have visibility. Like others I am not in love with the patch but everyone has a logo somewhere so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I can live with it. IT is warm, but definitely heavy. So for smaller people I can see that as a problem. I'm 5'8, 155# bought the XL tall and LOVE IT.
