Lands' End Men's Jersey Knit Short

I bought the medium size shorts, waist size 32-34. The shorts were too tight, uncomfortable, and poorly made…wouldn’t recommend…

Really nice quality mid/heavyweight cotton jersey. It's so hard to find 100% cotton shorts like this anymore. The cotton is soft and has a quality feel. When I first tried them on they were comically big in the leg for large, but I washed them on hot and baked them in the dryer and they shrunk up a bit to more like what I was expecting. The light heather gray runs larger than the navy and dark gray pairs I bought. One criticism is: I am not a fan of drawstrings openings on the inside of the waistband, pressing into my skin. They are more comfortable outside.

I have worn these shorts for years. I have worn these everyday since I worked from home and now retired. Something changed. The elastic in the waistband is non existent now. I have always marked the year I buy the shorts on the inner tag and ones 3 years older have more elastic than the ones I bought this year. I generally buy the longer length version for winter but not going to this year due to this issue.

I have loved these shorts for years. I have 9 pairs in my dresser right now including 2 still in bags direct from LE as backup for others eventually wearing down. In the past, these have lasted for years with 11-12 months of wearing (live in Hawaii). However, I noticed in the last few years that they are not as durable as they used to be. (I am retired so I wear these alot as we only have jeans weather 2 months of the year.) The problem area is the waistband where the material sewn around the internal elastic wears down at the top, starting with fraying then eventually a hole where you can see the white elastic poking thru. This is after 1-2 years max. I rotate my pairs as the heat and humidity out here means I get only 1 days wearing before it goes into the wash. I wear a different pair of these probably 4-5 days a week just doing stuff around the house, going to Costco and the grocery store, even Drs appointments. Its all washed in cold water and machine dried, though now I am even air drying to see if it has an impact? Otherwise, I would give them 5 stars.

My husband has been wearing these exclusively around the house since he got them. They are so comfortable!

I expected much better when purchasing. The quality of the short is excellent. However the fit is more for hip hop. Not happy with the baggy fit.

Like these shorts Do think they need ironing but that’s ok I’m an ironer… you could get buy without ironing They hold their shape a good length and I would order them again

I live the Jersey shorts. So comfortable and durable.

I enjoy these shorts. My recent order had moss green shorts labeled "XL 46-48." The size XL of all my pairs of these shorts are all labeled "XL 40-42." They seem to be the correct size, just mislabeled.
