Base needs to be bigger/wider to help with stability even though you will need to insert your own stake and/or use stronger/longer screws than what is provided to keep it from toppling in windy conditions. Overall a good choice and will add a nice touch to the landscape. Batteries are included but you might also want to consider purchasing rechargeable batteries once these wear out
I liked it but the post was a little flimsy I don't see it lasting long but the top was well made
