1X vs XL
I ordered this dress in both 1X and XL. There is more room in the chest on a 1X but the dress is also 2 inches longer, so if you're a short busty girl like me then you might feel swallowed. The XL fits perfect everywhere but the chest. The a-line is higher on the XL too so doesn't flatter my apple shape as well as it would if it was a bit lower. I'm 5'4, 170lbs and 38D, I am returning both because the 1X is too long and the XL feels like a button will pop on the chest. The waist is about 1 inch larger on the 1X versus the XL, but it's higher than the a-lines I'm use too and kinda gives maternity vibes. The fabric is fine, not see-through or itchy. The stitching is good too.
