These are my go to pants. I have bought many over the years. However, recent pairs always fade in the thigh area and lose color looking brown, especially in the black color. Has anyone else had this problem?
Needs a pocket where we supposed to put our keys and lipgloss
I have been buying these pants for over 20 years now. I love them! I have them in several colors, but order several more in black each year. But in the last few years the black does fade, and I do turn then inside out and wash in cold water only, and never put in the dryer, only hang them up to dry. I notice others have the same comment about the black color also. my other colors don't fade! BUT, MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT IS: PLEASE bring back the small zippered pocket!!! It holds keys, credit cards, drivers licenses, etc. which is so handing for going on walks!
I've been buying these for at least 10 years now and love them! I have probably 30 pairs of them in my closet I love them that much. Over the years though, I've noticed some changes. First off the Misses size got longer legs. I used to not have to hem them, but now I have to and I still 5 ft. 3 inches tall. The petite size is too short. As far as girth is concerned, the same size I've been getting for 10 years is as true of a fit now as it was 10 years ago. The only other thing I would add is - please bring back the pocket with the zipper and please bring back the tan and dark brown colors! I only gave them a 4 star rating because of the things I mention above.
I have several pairs of the straight leg Starfish pants. They are comfortable and can be dressed up or down. The wide waistband is comfortable and the knees do not bag out like some knit pants. One suggestion is to provide some lighter colors like tan. Those of us who are "apple shaped" prefer to wear lighter colors on the bottom to balance out our shape.
I have bought these Starfish pants over many years, but the latest are not as good a fit. The cut has changed. Compared to those I’ve previously bought, the fit is more baggy round the bottom and top leg, and the legs are wider despite being described as “straight leg”. Disappointed.
I have purchased so many of these for my daughter, who is disabled. Great fit, tho I always have to hem them. Usually high quality fabric, butthis time I noticed that the dark blue fabric was much lighter weight than the gray & black.
It’s an expensive experiment ordering online at lands end. Very challenging to get correct fit, material and style
These pants are a staple in my wardrobe and my daughter’s. They are our go to pants. Please, please never stop making them. I have them in many colors and multiples in black, navy and gray. These are excellent and they hold up well. I suggest drying these only 10 minutes and then hanging them to dry to preserve the darker colors as I like them to look new for a long time. Please bring back the black jeans version of the Starfish pants!
Decent pair of black pants for casual or semi dressed up. Stretch factor satisfactory. Decent quality. As presented in the catalog.would recommend
