I ordered 6 of these plates online. When I opened the box and unwrapped the first plate, I couldn't believe my eyes. I thought Macy's had made a mistake and sent me breakable stoneware instead of melamine!!! But when I turned over the plate there was a sticker on the back that said "Melamine"!!!! I would give these plates 10 stars if I could.....VERY HIGH QUALITY....and they are hefty weight with the look of real ceramic stoneware!!!! If you are considering a purchase of these, don't hesitate....you will be as happy as I am.
