Singer Sewing Machine

I have had this machine for about two years and it is HORRIBLE! It jams every single time I try to use it or it just doesn’t put the thread through the fabric. DO NOT BUY

Jams easily! I just tried to sew two layers of thin cotton fabric that was serged and it’s jammed! They make the screws impossible to unscrew so you cant open the plate and see if any thread is underneath. Poor quality

Bought it to learn to sew and fix uniforms and duvet covers at work.

I've never used a sewing machine in my life, but this is a very easy machine to use for repairing torn fabrics, etc. I highly recommend this product to beginners!

Simple to operate. Lightweight and easy to transport. Still learning all of the features. Love it!!

I recently purchased the Singer M1500 Sewing Machine. I looked at all the videos and thought I had followed them closely. A woman is vocally walking you through the steps. She expains everything except which side the thread should be on when you place the bobbin in the machine. The machine kept jamming, so I slowly watched all the videos again and it showed her moving the thread to the right side before she put the bobbin back in the machine. After I did that everything worked fine. I haven't had a lot of time to do a lot of projects, so I can't critique it a lot. But so far it seems like a good machine for the money. That video should be updated so other people won't have the same problem.
