Croscill Signature Dobby Cotton Down Alternative Comforter, Full/Queen

As soon as I opened the box, I was smacked in the face by a strong plastic smell that could probably be bottled and sold as “Eau de PVC.” I gave the comforter a wash, hoping it would freshen up—no luck. The odor clung on like it had a personal vendetta. It’s hard to tell whether the scent is coming from the comforter itself or the fancy (but slightly toxic-smelling) plastic zip bag it arrived in. Either way, I really wish the company had chosen a different packaging material—like literally anything less pungent. The comforter looked lovely, and I genuinely wanted this to be a win. But alas, my olfactory system says no. It’s going back.

The quality is nice, but this is NOT light weight! This is cold weather weight.

This is my second comforter and love it! Not too heavy, not too light. It’s extremely well made. I give it 10 stars!

I had been on the search for a nice down alternative cover and this one does not disappoint. It’s very very warm and cozy it’s made me not want to get out of bed to go to work lol.

Great Quality

I’m using this comforter as a duvet insert. It fits perfectly. Love that it has four corner loops that hold my duvet in place. Also it is fluffy and is a bit heavy. It is almost like a lightly weighted blanket.Croscill is a quality brand and it came in a beautiful zippered container. Highly recommend this comforter!

This is a lovely comforter. On the bed it looks like damask, you can leave it without a coverlet/quilt and it’s pretty as is. It is light in weight but warm. The cotton is soft, not scratchy. The quilting is a nice size and it appears as if it will not shift and become lumpy. An excellent buy.

It has held up great, it's of really good quality and still looks like it is new and not used at all. We expect this to last a long time, it's worth the investment
