Loving my new sheet set. Cotton sheets are my favorite for a good night's sleep, even though they are a bit wrinkly. They wash well and are cool for sleeping. Good value.

The quilt is pretty but it is much thinner than I thought. Also it says it is an oversized queen but it barely covers the sides of my standard queen bed.

This pattern is very nice. I like the weight. Lighter than I expected but this makes it basically a three season topper. For winter, I am planning to put a heavy blanket underneath it. The two issues I have are that I purchased it in red and it’s not as deep a red as I anticipated, more like a tomato red rather than a red with a lot of blue in it. It’s still fine, but I can’t match it with darker red sheets. In the Macy’s catalog it is styled with white sheets, but I went with more of a parchment that had a tinge of gray in it and it looks perfect. The other issue I have is that it’s very heavily quilted and the linear pattern of the quilting detracts from the really nice Jacobean pattern of the quilt. This might seem like a quibble, but for me it does impact the overall look. I do like the pillow shams quite a lot though.
