Nespresso Vertuo Lattissima Coffee and Espresso Machine by De'Longhi

The machine is very loud. It makes a lot of noise. Is that normal?

We are on our second Vertuo Lattissima. Leaking issues with both of them. Our second one is now leaking half of a filled water container after making 2 cups of coffee. The leaking started off as a small leak, and now the machine is unusable. We are so well stocked up on capsules, and I really think it may be time to give up on the Nespresso brand. Will they take back a bunch of sleeves? I had a couple of the standard machines before the Vertuo, and their lifespan was about 2 years. It does make a delicious latte.

I love this coffee machine. It's so easy to use, and having the milk steamer built in is such a great feature. It gives me an amazing cup of coffee every day.

All the reviews below accurately describe this machine's faults. It worked well for a couple of months, but it leaks, and I have to keep a towel underneath; now, out of nowhere, it has stopped working and blinks a white light. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting. The pod holder is cracked, and the pod hardly ever ejects into the bin. Mind you, this is my second machine because the first was covered under warranty and still had all the same issues.

Whilst I haven't had the machine long it is a replacement from my original pod machine to a Vertuo machine. So far I am very happy with it and I look forward to trying the range of pods.

I love the coffee and lattismo, but just like all the other comments it's only been 8 months and my canister is not recognized... I agree with the others that have had issues; for the price they should improve their quality and for those of us who actually love the machine but let down due to design flaws, hopefully they'll extend our warranty's, do quick overnight swaps and give us one heck of a discount on their next model.

Don’t know where to begin. I received this as a gift from my bf, and it has been the worst nespresso machine I have ever owned. Read the other reviews, and yes it leaks, and your countertop and everything on it will be ruined. The pod eject works maybe once in a blue moon so you’ll be left tossing the pods back yourself manually.. the machine gets so dirty and is impossible to clean. It gets mildewing and it doesn’t matter how many times you descale it (which is a horrible mess with the leaky fault, youll have descaler and water everywhere). Sometimes you’ll lock the pod in and it starts to make a loud grind noise, even after double checking it was locked correctly. It will sometimes give you a hassle and refuses to brew and youll have to unplug it and plug it back in. This is 100% not worth the money and everyone that has purchased one deserves a replacement that is not this model or a full refund.

Is it just me or does the Latte Macchiato function give too many ounces of milk froth? I use a 20 oz. cup and I always have to cut the milk froth short before the espresso kicks in. Is there anyway that I can program it so that it gives me a lesser amount of milk froth? Do I need to do a manufacture reset? How would I do that if that's the case?

There’s nothing wrong with the machine itself. The coffee it makes is as good an any Nespresso. It’s the design that whoever engineers these machines obviously never actually uses them daily. The pods rarely get pulled into the used pod chamber on their own. Then, the used pod chamber actually may hold 3 pods at a time. It will let you put 10 or so, but when you pull out the used pod chamber they all fall out spilling coffee grinds all over your counter.
