Maui Jim Unisex Polarized Sunglasses, One Way

I bought these Maui Jim sunglasses primarily because of the glass lenses. I’ve owned many pairs with polycarbonate lenses over the years, and despite taking reasonable care of them, they always seem to accumulate scratches. The glass lenses were a major selling point for me, and so far I’m very pleased with the optical clarity. The sunglasses also look great, feel well made, and are comfortable to wear. My one significant complaint is the Maui Jim logo screen-printed in the upper corner of one of the lenses. I understand the desire for branding, but putting a visible logo directly on the lens seems unnecessary on a premium pair of sunglasses. At certain angles it enters my field of view and can be surprisingly distracting. I would much prefer the branding to remain on the frame, where it doesn’t interfere at all with the visual experience. Overall, I’m very happy with the quality, optics, and feel of the sunglasses, and I especially appreciate having glass lenses. I just wish Maui Ji

Glasses are smaller than I expected. Should have been wider.

Love the glasses, but the rubber piece on the sides slide off. I sent them in for repair, and it started again 4 weeks after getting them back. For the cost, should be better quality.

I just lost my pair on the wave runner yesterday. I just have to say of tens of pairs of quality brand glasses this has been my absolute favorite pair I’ve ever owned. Lightweight, flexible, great quality!!!

The rubber ear pieces along the temple continually need repositioned. The tech at the eye center actually glued them to stop the movement. I paid a lot of money for these sunglasses and i didnt expect them to have to be repaired by super glue. This happened within two weeks of purchase. Save your hard earned money. TRASH.

Nice fit and style. Only complaint is they were stated as black frames but are more gray than black. Still I do like them and would recommend them. Expensive but worth the cost to me.

Bought a pair about 4 months ago, I lost my last pair of kanio coasts a few years back and wanted to get another pair of Maui's. I bought this pair to try something different, and while the lenses are the same great lenses I remember, the frame is absolutely terrible. The arms bend out of place if you so much as look at it wrong, the rubber ends fall off, nothing you would expect from Maui Jim. I send mine back to get the arms repaired, and sunglasses were returned to me with arms still crooked. I am truly disappointed with them.
