I’m in my late 40s, and use hydroquinone and tret. I would often flake and peel, have to manually exfoliate and pile on thick moisturizers and occlusives to heal, leaving my skin red and painful. Finally consulted AI and purchased this Barrier Repair Moisturizer and the Hypoallergenic Clean Correction Gentle Cleanser. I don’t understand the mechanics behind it, but since I’ve started using these two products, I’ve had no flaking, no peeling sheets of skin around my mouth and nose, and no painful redness! I’m so happy that my skin barrier has been repaired and I’m reaping the full benefits of my actives—I don’t need makeup, and look at least 10 years younger.
