I bought this sound bar to mainly help improve sound quality when watching films and day to day TV, especially speech as so many films the speech is so mumbled. So the speech enhancement was a draw and works really well. Overall I am very pleased! The sound is excellent without having to be turned up very high, especially when its coming from such a small bar. The set up is very easy. The remote is simple to use and functional. I would recommend using an HDMI from the get go, rather than the optical cable to connect it to the TV as this allows you to use the existing TV remote to turn the sound up and down. For a while trying to use two remotes was a bit clunky. Also, I had an incident where the dog ate the Bose remote control the 3rd day after I got it. I had used the optical cable connection to start with, so it nearly left me unable to use the sound bar. Fortunately I upgraded to the HDMI connection so this negated having to use the Bose remote control any more. One thing I did find at this time was that there are no manual controls on the speaker itself self i.e power button or volume control. This would be very useful as a back up should anything happen to your controller. I would recommend to anyone and did to my sister in law when she was thinking about getting a sound bar and she bought one to.

I bought this a month ago for a TV we do not use daily. The bar does not produce sound nearly half the time we switch it on until we disconnect and reconnect from the electricity supply. I have not been able to find a solution to this and have not yet called Bose. (I bought another soundbar from Bose at the same time and spent an hour on the phone trying to fix that with some improvement but still has issues)

Compact, simple and sleek TV speaker with a fair sound for the price range. The product matched my expectations based on the price tag and it's definitely an improvement of the TV speaker but nothing surprisingly amazing considering the brand name.

I bought this Bose TV Speaker to connect it to my 100" TV, and I could not be happier with the purchase. The crisp sound really makes my room an ultimate "movie experience!" And the one-touch dialogue enhancement button is so clutch!! As someone with tinnitus, it is always difficult to watch TV or movies and catch everything the characters are saying, but that dialogue enhancement puts me "in the action!"
I expected to be able to tailor the sound to suit my envronment. I bought it hoping to get much better dialogue clarity and was dissapointed. The Bose Mini Link I already have gives a better and more understandable speech.
This speaker is great for a small apartment, lots of great sound and so easy to use! I highly enjoy and recommend it!
