This is another golden example of why Tom Ford fragrances are absolutely in a class all by them self. Truly the rich mystery of myrrh is vibrant in this statement fragrance. Woods, woody, Earthy, and myrrh. Unique. A portal to a unique, wonderful experience. Got a winter date-night coming up?

An interesting and unusual fragrance that is not too overpowering for a professional setting. Not too sweet, a natural, pleasant effect that lasts all day without being obtrusive.
Maybe it’s the myrrh. Not my favorite scent, but I won’t be returning it. I’m surprised Macy’s even allows that, with fragrance. Century 21 did not. The manager there said they can’t resell opened EDP packages, and that they have testers out on the counters to try before you buy. When I tested Myrrhe Mystere at Macy’s it smelled like a blend between Ebene Fume and Noir de Noir, both of which I love and will keep as staples. It is not a blend. It’s spicy, like something YSL puts out on their Opium line. I can get used to it, but I think I’ll need to layer it with an oud or vetiver scent to allay some of the spiciness. I won’t be buying it again when it runs out, but it’s Tom Ford—even if he sold the brand and isn’t behind the products anymore, his bottled scents are sacred. Return a TF fragrance you buy, and it’s automatically 5 years’ bad luck. I would bet anything… Get a sample and try it at home. None in the store, contact the website. Ask how you can get one.

My “regular one” was Chanel Coco Mademoiselle for ages. Decided to try something new. This is very intriguing and mysterious smell. Weird thing is that my cat is going crazy about it lol he’s rubbing over me and sniffing loudly lol which is super unusual for him cause before all he did was hiding most of the time 😁
