After looking at numerous fans, I decided on the Casa Vieja Mach 5 with energy efficient DC motor. I really like the remote control that offers the options of 6 speeds. This makes finding the perfect amount of airflow easy.
Won't start. I shorted something on the start up and need to talk to some for replacement parts. No contact in paperwork.
I love this fan it's so beautiful and quiet
It was broken and returned.
Problem is if you use the remote to turn on and off the fan and light it prevents you from using the wall switch from turning on and off the light
For a large room, this is the best fan! It really moves the air. I have an 18" crop rod (cathedral ceiling), and this looks fantastic. The blades are not those cookie cut ones, so the look is non-standard fan, which really gives it a touch of class. It is also very quiet. I've ordered another one for my patio.
the best choice. we recommend this. the light is bright and lights up the room
Great fan. Very quiet as advertised. DC motor is the key to guarantee a noiseless fan. Moves air nicely. Looks great works well. The light is very bright and dimmable. Having A reverse feature can be handy. Also the fan will turn on after A power outage and continue with the same speed selected, which is what I wanted. The remote can use improvement it only has one red light that flashes once when speed is changed and the light switch is shared with the fan reverse direction. Other than that this is a great looking fan and works well.
The fan was simple to put together and pieces fit well. It's very quiet and we liked it enough to purchase a second one.
It's a super quiet and nice looking fan. Even on the lowest speed it puts out plenty of air. I went with just a 6" drop bar with 9' ceilings and it works great and is at a safe height. My only complaint and why I'm giving it 4 stars is the LED light doesn't dim low enough. It seems they could have easily designed this light so it could get almost dark by dimming. Otherwise, it was fairly easy to install and a great replacement and low profile fan and light combo!
