Price was excellent, well made and love the fact it's a ceiling hugger. Runs smoother than my others with extension rods. Bought for the guest bedroom.

The fan is very high quality. The body is metal (instead of plastic), and the blades have a nice heft to them. Under operation the fan is completely silent. We opted to use another remote control system as the handheld remote included with this fan looks older, like something you'd see from the 1980's. We instead wired a remote that mounts in the wall, and looks more built-in. The fan motor housing edges are sharp. During installation there is a step where you suspend the fan from hook on the ceiling mounting bracket while completing the wiring connections. During this time the sharp edges of the fan housing cut our skin several times. That was the only difficulty with assembly. The fan installed in the same easy steps as identified in the installation instructions. The brass and walnut design is exactly what we wanted for our mid century home. Highly recommend!
