I really love the stretch in this dress. I sized up and I’m glad I did. However, if you have any type of stomach, you must have a excellent girdle. It shows all the lumps on your stomach.
Lovely dress, the fit on size 12 for me was perfect - not tight but slightly loose for a nice drape and no special undergarments. The dress has a nice thick fabric that makes you feel held it. It was very long, so would need quite a bit of hemming on my 5'2" 141lb frame. I did not care for the large bow - I felt like it just didn't lay right on me and so I did not keep.

Beautiful dress. At 5”6’, and pear shaped I was worried it would cling too much. I’m typically between 10-12 depending on the cut. After trying both sizes, I we t for the 12 so that it would drape more. The fabric is great, not wrinkly at all. With a 2 inch heel, I don’t need to alter this at all.

I love this dress! I’m the Mother of the Groom and bought it for the wedding. The navy color is darker than it looks on line and that is my only concern but everything else is perfect. Material is nice and drapes well. I was surprised it isn’t lined and still falls nicely. The material won’t wrinkle which is important to me. I took it right out of the box and tried it on. No steaming needed. Not flashy but makes a statement of elegance. I was not expecting it to be lined but it may be a good thing it isn’t since the wedding is in August in a barn venue. It fit perfectly (except will need hemming). For reference I am 5’2” 117 pounds and bought a size 2.
I’m so pleased with this dress! It is very flattering, comfortable and made well. I purchased as a mother of the bride dress and feel very special in it. Highly recommend!
