Most garlic presses require strong hands to operate and their vertical squeezing action can often be awkward to use. With the Helix garlic press, however, the squeezing force is applied horizontally, which is much more comfortable and utilizes the power of the shoulders as well. In addition, its unique, twisting mechanism multiplies the force used, which means you get more squeezing power from less effort. The tough, 2-piece design is made from stainless steel and nylon and can be separated for easy cleaning. The Helix range also includes a potato ricer and citrus juicer.

Not good enough.
Too fiddly. Not as good as the green easy press. Not worth buying.

Easy and efficient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Minimal effort to use, and easy to clean. No more struggling with my old garlic press, which was hard work to use and a nightmare to clean.

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This do the job perfectly. My old 81 year old hands are losing their grip but not with these. I find them very easy to use. I also have the potato ricer and the citrus squeezer for the same reason

Like the design, haven't used
Like the design, haven't used it yet. Do hope it will be easier to use as I have trouble with arthritis.

Leaves so much behind
Nicely made and easy to use but… there is enough garlic left behind after a press that you can scrape it out and pass it through a more traditional press and get more garlic… it’s a pretty product but one to the few from this company that doesn’t actually work…

Loved it!
I am in Canada and I found this garlic press in a boutique while vacationing in another city. I loved this garlic press am on a mission to find another place near me to buy this as recently the knobs on the inside of the press broke. I suspect we put too much garlic in repeatedly. I won't make that mistake again because this was by far the best press I have ever used!

Brilliant gadget
