This spoon did not compare in quality to the bamboo Epicurean spoon by a different company I purchased at the Del Amo May's in Torrance. The surface of the spoon I returned was not smooth.

A definite yes!
LOVE this utensil! Threw away old plastic ones & replaced with Epicurean. Doesn’t stain, warp, scratch. Very easy to clean.
