I have worn Lands End winter jackets for a while now. So very happy that this version has the zipper feature- ability to unzip from bottom up after you have fully zipped it up. Such a plus for driving but even just making me more comfortable on a walk or bending over. Hood fits great too. Love the velcro on back of hood to adjust the fit and the toggles on each side to tighten it up when it’s windy. Definitely covers my head better than my last jacket. I love that it’s not too heavy especially the hood. The only thing I would like and hence the 4 stars, is the arm hole opening at shoulder to be just a bit bigger. It feels a little snug when I wear an extra layer like a sweatshirt or sweater. So far I haven’t had any tears there, but in the past that was an issue. Oh I’m not crazy about the Lands End emblem on the sleeve. Blue color is a nice darker blue. I usually buy a brighter color for walking like pink, purple or red but there wasn’t another color I liked.

Lands End really dropped the ball on this one..the coat is bulky and as someone said noisy, the sleeves are too big around the wrist and the hood comes halfway down my face..Think I’ll wait til later this year and start looking again, probably not at Lands End..

Really nice jacket very cheerful waterproof too. I really like the size I got it fit appropriately for my size one X I wear between an extra large and a one X but if I wanna wear a bulky sweater or something under it, I really should size up it would be very snug and uncomfortable to move so I am returning this coat but, I ordered a size up and it’s on its way. But very high-quality very nice.
It is extremely warm just as promised. I love it. The only con against the coat is the crinkly sound the outer material makes.
Fabric is not soft shell very rough and noisy. Sizing is too big and feel heavy. The image doesn’t show but there is a curler brand label on the left arm and I just f don’t like it. Returning’
