I purchased this brush to replace a Shesido brush I have had for years. I was worried that I wouldn’t like it as well as my old brush, but I do. It is a good size and easy to hold. The bristles feel good against my skin and a gentle brushing leaves my skin soft and smooth.
I have to be honest with this review and say that this isn't my favorite Shiseido product. I am a huge fan of Shiseido but this brush misses the mark for me. It just doesn't grab my skin the way I hoped it would--it's more like I'm running the brush over my skin instead of really getting a good cleanse/exfoliation with it. It's also pretty large, which makes it difficult to target areas like the base of the nose for instance.
Opened box up and immediately saw at least one full bristle “plug” is missing. Not the quality I have been accustomed to with Shiseido products. Disappointing.
I love using this in the shower when I wash my face in the morning or at night. The bristles are so soft and gentle and the little plastic nubby massagers feel great! I get such a beautiful foamy lather with this brush!
I have been using this cleansing brush (has regular white softer bristles throughout, and smaller circles of harder pink bristles. It is not harsh on your skin at all. I use the Complete Cleansing Microfoam face wash. I use a single pump and then massage it all over my face, neck, and behind my ears. I wait about 30 seconds and then start using this scrubbing brush. I scrub in circular motions, starting at my chin/neck area (very important as this angle is easy to gather and hold dirt, or something…that can cause skin irritation, and bumps) , then I go from the bottom of my right and left chin upwards and outwards~in front of ears!~ then my nose upwards to my forehead (really get in your baby hair line) then feel the bubbles until they are done-about 30 seconds-and then rinse it all off. Your skin will be so smooth;all of your dead skin cells sloughed off. Your smooth skin will thank you in the morning with its baby softness. The brush rinses clean very easily, I tap it on my face towel, then let it air dry. I highly recommend you add this brush to your cleansing routine right away!

My experience was not a good one. I'd been having red itchy skin for weeks but didn't relate it to my new face brush. I stopped using it and low and behold my skin is happy again.
I have been using this brush since the early 1990s and have always had great results from it. I can vary the pressure to get more or less exfoliation as needed and the skin looks fresh after a wash. I am older now but do not look my age (have been mistaken for ~20 years younger), so I believe the microcirculation claims to be true. The brush used to come in iridescent material (including the holder) but I understand that with inflation, they eliminated that. However, what is important is the performance/results, which have pretty much remained the same all these years.
