This is a good marble rolling pin, yet it is not heavy enough for me to roll out pasta dough or any other thick dough. I wish it was heavier because even the width is good, since most people who reviewed felt the rolling pin is too short, yet I don't agree. I gave it a rating of 3 because if it was was heavier, then it would get a rating of 5. I would recommend if you are not using it to roll out thick dough.
