5CORE sent an email to me, requesting a review of their speakers, 5C-15T. I gave an honest review, pointing out positive and negative characteristics. But, due to the poor overall sound and errors in their description, I was only able to give a 1-star rating. 5CORE apparently printed my review on their website. However, 5CORE altered my review rating! 5CORE changed my rating to 5-stars, which is an outright lie! 5CORE ALSO deleted one paragraph of my review. I wanted only a nickname to identify my review. 5CORE printed my full name, violating my privacy rights. Because of the above stated deception, I deem this company to be corrupt and its products unworthy of being sold on Macy's website. The product itself, the 5C-15T is grossly mis-advertised: Dimensions are wrong: The included diagrams state the speaker is 6-inches by 4-inches by 2-inches (HWD) each. The actual measurements are: 18-inches by 6-inches by 5-inches (HWD) each. There is NO tweeter speaker: The included diagrams suggest a tweeter, which actually points to a knob, used to tighten a mounting clamp. There is, in fact NO tweeter and NO crossover at all. This claim is an outright lie. The quality of sound is terrible: It delivers absolutely ZERO bass response. Not weak or lacking bass. NO bass at all. I sincerely doubt these speakers can deliver any useable output below a few hundred hertz. AVOID 5CORE. My first and last 5CORE purchase.
