Great look, breaths well, tons of cushion, and almost weightless.

Comfortable for all day whether working, walking around town. Goes with shorts or long pants and dresses things up a little. I now have 5 pairs in pretty much every color Johnston & Murphy makes.

I picked up the Amherst 2.0 Knits expecting a solid work-to-weekend shoe, and in terms of comfort, they totally deliver—the upper is lightweight and breathable, and the cushioning is great for all-day wear. Unfortunately, the outsole tread has a weird "suction cup" effect that makes a surprisingly loud popping sound whenever I walk on smooth wood or tile floors. They look and feel great, but that annoying indoor squeak keeps me from wearing them as much as I'd like.

Excellent shoe! Disappointed to see it going away. Best shoe by J&M, and I have bought your shoes for 25+ years. Light, supportive, this shoe transitions from casual to work settings easily. I have knee issues and this shoe beats all the cushion shoes on the market, and I can wear it with my suit, for travel, hikes, light exercise like biking and walking, or an easy night on the town with friends.

Best white business casual sneakers I’ve found. Fit like a glove the first time I wore them.

These shoes are very smart looking - well designed and look comfortable. While they have laces the heal is strong enough to use them as slip-ons so I don't have to retie them every time. I like the deep blue color with the contrasting white and leather heel and accent on the tough. They are breathable and have good support from toes to heels. They are still new and they are perhaps a little tight in the just in front of the arch but I anticipate that might stretch out over time.

This is my third pair and are my go too comfort shoe.

I really like the versatility of the Amherst Knit Plain Toe shoe. Although it feels like a tennis shoe, it looks more dressy as a result of the knit pattern. This is my 3rd pair of this type of shoe and have found that they wear well.
