I would not consider this shade “burlap”.
This Burlap Lampshade is beautiful, it has very clean lines and is well constructed. I love the neutral color and texture which adds to the casual elegance I was looking for in my renovated beach house.
The shade arrived quickly and extremely well packaged. I feel the description was detailed in a way that I felt confident it would fit my lamp and enhance the room.
I feel this shade is tightly woven and minimalist rather than burlap which I feel would be loosely woven and more boho style.
Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would order again from Macy’s as they partner with high quality vendors (like Lamps Plus) that produce interesting and unique products.

These Lamp Shades Light Up My Life
Excellent shades. Thanks to the careful packaging, the shades arrived in great shape. In addition, the shades arrived quicker than expected.
The shades look good, whether the lamps are off or on. I have put one shade on a table lamp, and the other on its matching floor lamp. There are no yellow or grey undertones. Just pure natural burlap. Pictures are right out of the box. A few wrinkles and strings, but nothing major. [Sorry if they're sideways. Can't figure out how to correct that].
One minor detail is that, to me, the shades look more angular online. They are round. I was a little disappointed when I first opened the box, but the shades look so good on the lamps, I quickly got over it. Highly recommend.

I needed help finding the right size for my lamp with a large but broken shade. The woman on the phone was excellent and her advice was right on the button. Delivery was quick and the shade arrived in perfect condition. I'm delighted to be looking at a presentable lamp again and get it out of the closet.
