This is def not for newborns, my daughter is two months old and we have just recently started using it more frequently. I didn’t like how it made her head/neck sink in when she was first born. The toy bar is kind of wobbly and comes out very easily. Overall, it is a very cute bouncer, and I like the portability of it.
