Had the stripes been the same thicknesses across all 4 pieces it would have been perfect. Design aside, the dinner plates are great for meals, smaller plates for salads or desserts, bowls for soup or ice cream, and of course the mugs for coffee or tea. All 4 items wash great and stack nicely in the cabinet.
