Cuisinart Coffee Center 10-Cup Thermal Coffeemaker and Single-Serve Brewer, SS-21

I really like this coffee maker because it is so quite but I do I two problems first you select the number of ozes however the amount of liquid that is dispenced is not what is selected for example you select 10ozes but you get about 8-9ozes. in other words you don't get the selected amout in you cup. 2nd, after it makes the single serve aftetr about a minute it spits out water and makes a mess you have wipe and clean the coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this abt 3 weeks ago. The coffee it makes is really good. Thats the good part. We had a previous model that quit working after abt 7 yrs. We like the metal carafe, however, you can't see how much coffee is in there. Also, when it brews it sounds like its about to come apart. Its incredibly noisy when brewing. We like the fact you can turn off the done indicator. Also, the piece that holds the metal grounds basket doesn't fit real cleanly and easily, so you have to work it or it sticks up a bit and the lid doesn't fit flush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker replaced my 5 yr old Cuisinart 12cup stainless steel maker. I love that I have the choice of making a full pot or a quick pod of coffee. I took away one ⭐️ as I thought it was broke when in reality the pod water holder was not full enough to begin the brew. Also on making a full pot apparently, I overfilled it a bit and water was coming out the back of the unit. Neither of these possibilities were addressed in the manual under trouble shooting. I love that the stainless steel retain the heat and does not continue to cook the coffee till it tastes burnt and love the charcoal filter for the water supply.

DANGER ALERT! I purchased this coffee maker because I was looking for the all in one K cup feature. This morning it almost caused an electrical fire in the kitchen. I could hear the coffee maker making a ticking noise and when I went into the kitchen there was smoke coming from the heating plate and it smelled like an electrical fire. I immediately unplugged it and placed the smoking coffee maker in the garage. It took hours for the smell to disappear. Thank goodness I caught it in time before it burst into flames. I’m disappointed in Cuisinart to release something so dangerous. My home is brand new so no electrical issues. Please be aware

I was hesitant to buy this coffee maker after reading some bad reviews about it. However, I have nothing but good things to say about it! I make a carafe of coffee in the morning, and then we use the single serve in the afternoon for another cup. It is very easy to use and looks nice and saves space on my countertop.

My wife and I have been looking for a coffeemaker like this for a long time. She likes the K-cups and I like a brew carafe so I can pour a quick second or third cup when I am ready. One thing in particular they we were looking for was a stainless steel carafe, which is hard to find. This one fit the bill. There were a couple of negatives things said about it it being hard to open the lid to the carafe and pouring the last bit of the coffee, but I thought that was minor to the performance we were looking for. The pod brewer performs as well as any other that we have had and the SS carafe is great and keeps coffee hot for a long time. Easy to use and we love this coffeemaker!!
