Taft Men's Jack Lace-up Cap-Toe Boot

Dragonflies are my personal mascot. So I had to order a pair of the dragonfly boots. I worried they'd just be a novelty, and that the quality and workmanship might not match the images on the website. So I bought the dark brown ones and love them. I feel good about myself whenever I wear them. When the light ones went on sale, I hesitated for a just a second, but then I got them and I am happy again. Beautiful boots. Distinctive, stylish, high quality.

Not as thrilled with this boot as many of my others (I have 8 Taft pairs total). Craftsmanship less quality than I’ve come to expect. Structure/form of the boot around the right heel/achilles pinches in/rubs more than the left boot. Beautiful satin/silky material, but extremely delicate, already had some dirt marks, sticky/tacky spots, maybe from handling during manufacturing? Concerned it is going to be very difficult to keep these looking nice if they get wet and likely hard to clean them if they get any dirt on them at all. Nervous and I haven’t even worn them yet.

I've had my eye on these for a while. When I saw my size I knew I had to jump on it immediately. I got over 15 compliments and inquiries the first day I wore them! I love the color, style, design and fit. This is my third pair of Taft footwear. I love my new boots!

This is another home run by TAFT. Got the Jack in Blue Dragonfly for Christmas 2025. I've worn them twice so far and both times out they've gotten compliments right away. They feel great right out of the box as always. This is my sixth pair of TAFT boots or shoes and they can do no wrong in my opinion. Each pair is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoes are definitely cute and love the style but after I wore them once they cracked and now I can’t wear them. Sadly only wore them once. So sad and angry about this purchase since they were expensive. Cracks on both shoes.

Love them, recommend a size smaller than you normally wear.
