Le Creuset Essential Nonstick Ceramic 10 Pc. Cookware Set

I purchased this set because of the LeCreuset reputation. And while they do work well, there is a major problem with the coating. Regardless of how careful you treat them, the ceramic coating chips off on the top edges of the pots and pans. I don't know if its the metal rimmed lids that cause it. I've had nearly the entire set replaced through warranty, but the replacements have the same problem. And now the warranty side will not respond to any more of my claims. Looking back I wish I had purchased the hardened non stick set.

Just received and have only used the 11” skillet once but was very nonstick. The pots are heavy and seem well made. The only thing I do not like is the pots and pans are very small, even the 11” skillet seems really small. I was looking at the Caraway set, which is similar , a little cheaper and pans are larger, but no warrant to speak of. I will try for the 90 day guarantee to see. I will update in the future

Not for heavy use thought this would be comparable to the dutch ovens. Which I have had for 40 years with no problems. The chipping and peeling isn't what I had high hopes for. Crafted by French artisans from the finest quality materials since 1925 in China?

I ordered this set at the beginning of the summer to repair my old KitchenAid set, and what an upgrade it was! I had looked at other ceramic coated sets online, but settled on this because I've had positive experiences with other Le Cruset products. I'm so happy with my choice! I mostly use wood and silicone, but even occasionally using my metal tongs hasn't left a single mark in the ceramic coating

I had always told myself when the last of our children graduated and moved out, I'd treat myself to a new set of pots and pans that I KNOW won't have forks scraped across the bottom of them, so I've had YEARS to do my research. I was initially leaning towards Hex-Clad, but after so many people were having bad luck with them, I decided to jump ship and head over to LeCreuset (I've been collecting them for years already, so why not take a chance on the pots/pans), and WOW, am I glad I did! They are absolutely everything they are made out to be! Stick proof is an understatement and the cook-surface is perfectly flat and conducts heat perfectly. Well done, LeCreuset!
