"Elephant" neck
I am a turtleneck guy. I bought two of these originally. Then wore and washed them before ordering any more to be certain that they didn't lose shape. No problem at first so I ordered four more in different colors. Then I began to notice that all these were losing their shape in the neck after a short time. After a few weeks of wear and wash the necks are way out of shape. Way too big in the neck. So now I have six of these that I only wear when I am cleaning the garage. I ordered a perfect size match to the accompanying sizing chart. Perhaps some spandex would have helped.

Disappointing Monogram Placement
This turtleneck is smooth and nice looking. Unfortunately, I had it monogrammed and didn’t thoroughly inspect where the monogram would go. Since the neck folds over, I assumed the monogram would be placed on the upper collar when it’s folded. Apparently, Lands End considers this a “stand up” turtleneck so the monogram is placed on the top of the neck when unfolded. This makes it unable to fold over without seeing the back side of the embroidery. I am curious what Lands End would consider a folded turtleneck, since this one doesn’t fall into that category? Otherwise, this seems like a nice turtleneck, just disappointed with the counter-intuitive monogram placement.
