Coleman Flatlands 30 Degree Sleeping Bag, Mahogany

It was the perfect gift for my tall son. Kept him warm and comfortable on his trip.

I use this sleeping bag for winter RV camping. My RV is heated, but the bed slide can get very chilly on cold nights. It's probably around 40F. This sleeping bag keeps me very warm and comfortable. It's warmer than any combination of blankets I have tried. I can't rate wet performance, because I have never gotten it wet. But in a dry but chilly RV, this is a great choice in my opinion.

Was comfortable to sleep in. Was kept warm throughout the night, the temps were into the 40’s.

I have used the Flatlands 30° Sleeping Bag, and never left home. We had a cold snap 33° in North Central Florida, so I used the bag on top of the bed. The cushioning effect of the bag are nice. However, it has a tendency to be rigid allowing cold air into the open area. Good thing I wore long sleeve and full length pajama shirt and pants.

My children don't always enjoy going out but after using this sleeping bag, they haven't fussed about being cold nm on our overnight outings. I'm thankful for how warm we are and the quality of the material seems to be very good.

It performs exactly as I expected and have used it in the conditions it was designed for, right around freezing. Much colder and would use a bag with a different rating, but this covers the widest temperature range we usually see.

Our electricity was out for a few days, and we don’t have a back up generator. We had a lot of blankets covering us, but it was just too cold. I went into the sleeping bag since it was made for 30 degrees weather. It had plenty of room, and was able to keep me really warm. I can see how this would be ideal for the outdoors!
