Beach House Sport Ava Zip Front Rash Guard

I purchased this rash guard and it completely failed at its one job: protecting my skin from the sun. I didn’t initially notice the small perforations in the arms. When it arrived, I thought it was odd but gave the company the benefit of the doubt since it was marketed for long hours in the sun and as protective, pool-friendly wear. That assumption was a mistake. After just two hours, I ended up with multiple small, distinct sunburn spots across my shoulders—like a polka-dot burn pattern. When I contacted the company, they said it’s actually a “cover-up,” not a rash guard. That’s incredibly misleading. If it doesn’t provide sun protection, it shouldn’t be marketed this way. Without the holes, it could have been a great product. As is, it’s poorly designed and does the opposite of what it claims.

Great Rash Guard! I wanted it for snorkeling and for sun protection and it was great! I wore it with a swim bra that I already had, but wish that I had bought a bikini top instead.

Front zip is crucial. check. Chlorine resistance is crucial. remains to be tested. Admiral blue is a lighter color navy and I like it. Close fitting but very stretchy. I ordered the 'recommended size for my measurements', a medium, and it fit fine. Not sure yet about fit when it is wet. Thinking that swim gear needs to go small, I ordered the size small in another color and it was too small.

I bought this rash guard to replace one that had worn out. The zipper is great for easy on and off. I like my rash guards to be fitted (more comfotable for swimming when wet, etc) and the small was perfect. If you prefer a looser fit I would order up one size.

Fits correctly, super comfy and soft, I have several.

I've been looking for a rash guard/swim/sun multi purpose shirt with long sleeves but breathable and easy to put on and take off for a long time, and have finally found one that fits all the requirements, and comes in my size! The color is beautiful as well :heart:️
