It gives you the ability to keep good covered without the lid falling on the floor or slamming shut. It works as intended storing food and keeping warm. I would recommend and purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chafing dish with hydraulic lid is great to use for any kind of event or a gathering or a small party it is great for keeping the food warm what I like about this is that it is easy to use easy to clean it is a little heavy this comes with two trays one for putting the water and the other one to put on top of the tray of water so keeps ur food steam hot what I also like about this product is that the guess are able to to see through the glass what food is inside with out needing to open it so much it opens up smoothly.

I used this for a few wedding receptions as well as some family meals. It is very practical, easy to setup, cleanup is quick, and it looks very elegant.

Has a hydraulic lid so no one is stuck holding it while trying to serve themselves. It has a burner pot to keep it the dish warm. It's easy to clea clean also.

I usually bring cold food like fruit trays because I didn’t have anything to keep hot food, hot. This chafing dish is exactly what I needed. It is really big, so it can hold a great amount of food. When feeding 50 plus people a lot of food is needed. I will definitely be getting a few more and so will some of my other family members.
