A suggestion from other 'hip' surgery patients and they are correct. It's about comfort and no elastic at the leg. These are very soft cotton, the waist band is so comfortable, bought a larger size as suggested, easier for putting on during the time period of recuperation where bending is limited. Happy to have found these.
They are full cotton and very soft. Just a little too big and I wish they came in a smaller size
Fabric used was too flimsy. They didn't stay in shape when worn. I ordered 2 packs
