Ordered and gifted to a friend for her baby shower, she used it during labor and she said the nurses were in LOVE with it! She said everything they needed-- access to the back, front, to take off the straps-- everything was so easy and they were all asking where she got it. Hospital prefers side access for medical equipment so I will be putting some snap tape in. I also prefer a soft cotton to rayon just for structure over time.

The shoulder snaps were so useful and having a soft Velcro for the back kept it from being itchy during labor. I wore it for a full 24 hours and I was never uncomfortable. I got many compliments on the cuteness and the construction. I would 100% buy again if I ever needed to throw this one out for some reason. I fully plan on turning this into a nursing nightgown

I am someone who can get very easily overstimulated by certain textures or scratchy fabrics on my skin which is the main reason that I got a labor and delivery dress but it did so much more for me! It was convenient for epidural placement, comfortable, and allowed me to be covered up when I was moving around my LND room. Highly highly recommend!!
I couldn't wear the gown due to having a C-section, but it's been great to wear while in the hospital recovering and breastfeeding. The snaps by the straps make it super easy. The gown is also super comfortable and doesn't rub on my incision.
