It is very thin so not great for a year round blanket but definitely perfect as a cover to make a set look cohesive or as mentioned, a summer blanket.

It is machine washable, dries quick, and does not shrink. It fits well with our queen size bed. The quality is good. I am planning to buy more in different colors. Love it. You will never go wrong with this comforter.
