This is great as long as the sun is out. I thought the solar panel would store the energy to keep the pump going once the energy was built up. But, if the sun is not out, then this does not work. So, we were hoping to see what the birds would do in early evening when the sun was going down but it was still light out but it does not work from what. I can see. Of course it was cheap so I got what I paid for.
Works great with a great deal of sun, not so terrific in the shade, but that's ok, it's called solar for a factor, like the glass better, that is a nice feature.
The water fountain was specifically as defined. It started working as quickly as the sun hit the panels. I such as having the different add-ons.
I bought it for my small pond to add beauty with this fountain and it is perfect.

This little pump works well. I use it in my dogs swimming pool. It’s nice that it is solar powered as well. The spray is good, the dogs seem to like it.
