How is this a hiking shoe when it literally has ZERO traction - almost fell on the kitchen floor while trying out the shoes! They are light-weight & comfortable but that's about it - a sock would serve just as well as this boot does. This is being immediately returned.

Quality materials, great design, brown Karnak with black soles can be worn anywhere. Mock toe give a bit more toe room, very comfortable, light weight, easy lacing.

I bought these as 'high top work boots' . I was surprised how light weight they are. I was used to traditional work boots, clunky with steel toes. These boots are not steel toed and that's OK 'cuz I no longer work where that protection is needed. The quality seems good. They look nice. If I was more familiar with Nunn Bush sizing, I could have got by with a half size smaller.
