Introduced in 2003, the original DOLCE&GABBANA Sicily fragrance for women now takes on a more contemporary edge with olfactory notes that showcase the noble Mediterranean ingredients, along with the cultural heritage of Sicily. The floral aldehydic fragrance was created by Nathalie Lorson exclusively for DOLCE&GABBANA. The protagonist of the top notes is the citrusy floral essence of Sicilian bergamot, delicately cold-pressed from the golden peel, a scent that conjures the island's sun-drenched citrus groves and freshly laundered linen drying in the sun. The heart hosts a heady explosion of jasmine flowers picked at dawn, when the blossoms are the most fragrant, brought out with an accord of black rose. For the base, the powdery scent of heliotrope blends with creamy sandalwood essence and musk. The fragrance comes in an iconic flacon, topped with a black cap that is inspired by the precious enamel used for the luxurious accessories. The weighty glass flacon bears an engraved black label and is encased in a black velvet coffret.

Perfect Perfume
This is my second one. I had it for years. It smells very nice. I love the scent. . You don't have to use a lot. It's worth the price. I would definitely recommend it.

Best fragrance ever
I’m so glad that this fragrance has returned. It was my favorite and I was so disappointed when they stopped making it. Although it isn’t the original scent I love it just as much, but I wouldn’t mind if they brought back the original fragrance as well.

It's back!
This is the quintessential Italian fragrance. It was discontinued about 10 years ago I believe. This one stands out as different from all the watered down but expensive perfumes of this decade. Sicily has banana, honeysuckle, orange blossom, bergamot and aldehydes; middle, nutmeg, jasmine, hiacynth, hibiscus and rose. The base notes of musk, sandalwood and heliotrope give it an oriental flavor which extends its lasting power. I'm so glad they brought it back!
