Briggs & Riley Work 2.0 16.5" Duffle

I am not going to lie I miss my old bulletproof black leather B & R shoulder bag. Unfortunately that was stolen out of my car in Portland, OR a few years ago. Imagine that…crime and theft rampant all over the blue West Coast. No surprises there, but ultimately I needed to replace it. After my usual exhaustive research I ended up back with a B & R product again this time with the blue colored expandable brief. What a surprise. I love the color and appreciate the quality construction. All the bells and whistles are still there, but with a durable fabric material that is as tough as it is attractive. With regards to fit both my 15 inch HP Elite work laptop and my personal 16 inch Dell XPS Premium 16 fit nicely and snugly inside along with my large iPad Pro. There is room for the mice even and my Logitec MX Keys potentially, but would not try it. They told me the 16 would not fit but it does very well. As with my stolen B & R shoulder brief the quality is still there. I do miss my super indestructible black leather bag, but this nice blue durable fabric meets or exceeds my expectations. Glad to see B & R still on top of the game. I don’t nearly travel as much as I used to. Cancer and worn out hips soon to be replaced prevent my mobility, but when I do my trusty B & R superior bag will be by my side in all conditions. Thanks for keeping the quality. If I was still on the road like I used to be I would ditch my old Tumi bags and buy new matching B & R luggage. This briefcase is awesome. Very high quality for work and travel. Compact enough for carry on international travel and will fit laptop, Leica q 3 camera, files and other valuable items you want to keep close. Beautiful construction and worth the expense. No regrets with purchase.

Love this to go with my Essential Carry-On 22” spinner as I love the J Hook system. It fits everything I need, including laptop and iPad, charges, water bottle, and I don’t even use the expandable feature. It might not fit under some seats expanded, not the bags fault as goes qualify as a personal Item, just some planes have a really low under seat profile. Highly recommend as partner to the carry on. I don’t miss a backpack at all as using it with the J Hook system has taken the weight off the top of my carry on and feels so much better for travel.

Very good quality, as always. Love the expandability and all the clever, thoughtful pockets and zips. I WISH the brief came in colors other than navy and black. Very disappointed in that aspect.

This bag is sturdy and lightweight. It has a variety of zippered compartments to choose from for storing whatever you may want to carry: laptop, legal pad, files, pens, chargers, etc. One drawback is that it tends to lean forward and even fall on its front, especially when not expanded.

Great design, user friendly, just the right size, and quality materials. Compared with other high quality briefcases and this one was far and away the winner!

The ballistic nylon construction feels both durable and professional, while the expandable feature provides extra space on days when I need to carry more. The interior layout is thoughtfully designed, with a padded laptop sleeve, tablet pocket, and multiple compartments that keep my documents and accessories neatly organized. It’s comfortable to carry with the padded strap and leather handles, and it has a sleek, stylish look that fits perfectly in a professional setting. Although it’s a bit heavier than some slimmer briefcases, its functionality and design make it well worth using as an everyday work bag.

Well constructed bag with thoughtful pockets and compartments. The shoulder strap has sturdy all metal clips and is very comfortable even when the bag is loaded. Carry as much as you need for the day including a 15" laptop and unzip the expansion to add space for travel which can include a change of cloths. Had a Tumi bag prior to the B&R. I like the B&R bag better than the Tumi for almost 1/2 the price.
