Okay. Not the best.
Was not impressed with the quality of the block for the price. Seemed cheaply made and painted. Wood had cracks in base. I’m sure is throughout under the paint.

Complete knife block set
So far, the set is a great improvement over my original set. The knifes are sharp and it’s no longer a struggle to cut anything from melon rinds to steak. Many sets do not have basic types of knives included. This has the bread knife and a sharpener right on the knife block. I would have liked extra steak/dinner knives but overall, we are pleased with the product and as always, got it for a great price at Macy’s.
